Why choose semi-permanent eyelash extensions?

How long will the eyelash extensions last?
Everyone’s natural eyelash growth cycle is approximately 90 days. Your eyelash technician will attach to your mid-cycle lashes, thereby giving you at least three weeks of maintenance-free extended wear. After this period, your natural eyelashes begin a new growth cycle. However, your look can be maintained with regular ‘in-fill’ treatments which take approximately 60-90 minutes.
How do I care for my eyelash extensions?
You will be given an after care advice guide by your Eyelash Emporium certified technician which gives you important tips and information on how to prolong and maintain your glamorous new look.
How are the individual eyelash extensions applied?
Your eyelash extensions need to be professionally applied by your Eyelash Emporium certified technician. The individual synthetic eyelashes, which are available in different lengths, thickness, curvatures and colours are tailored to the look you want to achieve and are carefully attached one by one to your individual natural eyelashes. Your eyes have to be closed during the treatment (between 60-120 minutes) and you will be lying down comfortably throughout.
How can I prepare for my treatment?
- Make sure your eyelashes and eyelids are free from any make-up and oils prior to treatment.
- If you wear contact lenses, please remove them prior to your treatment and bring a pair of glasses to wear afterwards and for the first 24 hours.
- Eyelashes should not be permed or tinted for at least 72 hours prior to having the eyelash extensions applied.
- It is advisable to tint the eyelashes prior to having the extensions done if your lashes are very fair in colour, as to not appear lighter than the eyelash extensions. This is optional but gives a more effective result.
